Showered with love...

Because of all the craziness with Jackson coming early, I did not get to blog about the other baby showers that were held in my honor before he was born. In February, I was thrown two amazing showers. The first one was given by my wonderful Mother-in-law up in Oregon. Of course she had a "duck" theme complete with little duck finger sandwiches and a frog and duck diaper cake. She has some of the most amazing friends and I felt to blessed that they embraced me and spoiled me with everything. It was a very special day spending time with many women that have known Kyle since he was little. Thank you to my mother-in-law for making me feel so loved. You always go above and beyond and this shower was certainly no different.

The second shower was thrown by my best friends overlooking the beautiful San Diego ocean. My friend Sheri had this awesome connection and we all celebrated in this gorgeous house in La Jolla. Surrounded by my best girl friends, I enjoyed a wonderful day eating yummy salad, opening beautiful gifts and just spending time with the most amazing girlfriends anyone could have. I love each and everyone of you and Jackson is so lucky to have so many wonderful "aunties." Thank you for a wonderful day!!!

Happy Easter!

Well, yesterday was my due date. Pretty funny to think that he would still have been in my tummy this whole time. But God had other plans and Easter Sunday was not only his first holiday but also his one month birthday. I can't believe a whole month has gone by. It really does seem like yesterday that we were in the hospital. My Mom was right....it goes by so fast. He is getting bigger everyday (he is up to 7lbs 3 oz)! I love him so much!
Jackson had a wonderful first Easter celebrating with his Grammy and Auntie Haley and Uncle Freddie. They love coming down and spending time with us and it was so hard saying goodbye at the end of the weekend.
Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins and thank you for your endless blessings. I am so grateful for my beautiful son and my amazing family. Happy Easter!

One month already...and I am still 2 days from my due date!

My first Easter....I love my new friend
